Step 1: Use a twisted pair cable pliers (or cutting tool) to trim one end of the Category 5 twisted pair cable (preferably cutting a length of cable that meets the wiring requirements), and then insert the trimmed end into the gap of the cable pliers used for wire stripping. Be careful not to bend the cable, insert it straight until it presses against the gear behind the cable pliers, and slowly rotate the crimping pliers once (without worrying about damaging the sheath of the core wire inside the cable, because there is a certain distance between the two stripping blades, which is usually the diameter of the 4 pairs of core wires inside). Let the blade cut open the protective rubber of the twisted pair cable and remove the rubber. Specialized wire stripping tools can also be used to strip the wire.

Attention: The distance between the wire clamp gear and the wire stripping blade is usually exactly the length of the telephone crystal head, which can effectively avoid stripping the wire too long or too short. Stripping the wire too long is not aesthetically pleasing, and on the other hand, the network cable cannot be stuck by the crystal head, making it easy to loosen; The wire stripping is too short, due to the presence of foreskin, it is too thick and cannot be fully inserted into the bottom of the crystal head, causing the crystal head pin to not be in good contact with the network cable core, and of course, it cannot be successfully produced.

Step 2: After Step 1, you can see the 4 pairs of 8 core wires of the twisted pair network cable, and it can be seen that each pair has a different color. Each pair of entangled core wires is composed of a core wire dyed with the corresponding color and a white alternating core wire dyed with only a small amount of the corresponding color. The colors of the four full-color core wires are brown, orange, green, and blue.

First, arrange the 4 pairs of core wires in a straight line, then separate each pair of core wires (note not to arrange them across lines, that is to say, each pair of core wires is arranged adjacent to each other), and arrange them in a unified order (such as the left side being the main color core wire, and the right side being the corresponding color white core wire). Note that each core wire should be straightened and arranged separately and in parallel, without overlapping. Then use network cable pliers to cut the wires vertically in the direction of the core wire arrangement (do not cut too long, just cut them neatly), and the order of numbering from left to right is set as "1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8".

Step 3: Hold the crystal head horizontally with your left hand (with the plastic buckle facing downwards and the opening facing to the right), then align the 8 neatly cut and parallel arranged core wires with the opening of the crystal head and insert them side by side into the crystal head. Be sure to insert each core wire into the bottom of the crystal head without bending (because the crystal head is transparent, the position where each core wire is inserted can be clearly seen from the side of the crystal head with a slot).

Step 4: After confirming that all core wires are plugged into the bottom of the phone crystal head, you can directly insert the crystal head that is plugged into the network cable into the wire clamp slot. Because the notch structure is the same as the crystal head structure, it must be correctly inserted to ensure the correct position when pressing down on the handle of the cable clamp at the back. After placing the crystal head in place, you can press down on the handle of the network cable clamp. Be sure to apply force so that the pins of the crystal head can be inserted into the core wire of the network cable and make good contact with it. Then gently pull the network cable and crystal head with your hand to see if they are tightly pressed. It is best to press them again, and the most important thing is to pay attention to the correct position.
